INTERNATIONAL PHOTO COLLECTIVE - OPEN CALL DEADLINE - MAY 25, 2024

Over an eight-day stay in Gardinovci village, the participants merge themselves into the everyday experiences and atmosphere of rural villagers, capturing their rituals, conflicts, and surroundings making their photography project. The workshop is guided by, Sergei Stroitelev, an award-winning documentary photographer, curator, and teacher.

Alongside the main workshop, participants will conduct a photography masterclass for local community amateurs.

As a result of the collective, each resident will create a photography project and prepare it for an exhibition, including the photography of the villagers who participated in a masterclass. The exhibition will be held in the cultural center of Gardinovci. An additional exhibition is projected to happen in Novi Sad following the end of the workshop.

The collective is free of charge. We cover food and accommodation. We don't cover transportation.

The workshop is organized in collaboration with the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and Israel Embassy in Serbia.
