International PhotoCollective is the collective program of Vice Versa Triangle. Each summer it brings together a group of photographers from different countries to work side by side in Gardinovci. The village becomes both subject and collaborator: projects grow out of daily encounters, shared meals, and conversations with residents.
Over the course of the program, artists create new work, test ideas in dialogue with one another, and present the results in a public exhibition in the village. It is an experiment in collective learning, where the process of making is inseparable from the experience of living together.
Conditions of Participation
International PhotoCollectiveParticipation in the International PhotoCollective is based on exchange rather than fees. Artists are invited to contribute to the local community through workshops, lectures, or collaborative activities with villagers. In return, the residency provides accommodation with host families, shared meals, and the resources needed to develop new work.
The program is open to photographers from any country and at any stage of their career, with the main criteria being a willingness to engage with local life and to work collectively. Each edition lasts several weeks in the summer and culminates in a public exhibition in Gardinovci, where the projects are presented to both villagers and visitors.
