I am a tourist of this place, roaming the quiet, dark roads at night like a character from another tale. I’m an odd person walking the concrete streets, which were vibrant and alive just a few hours ago, but now stand still and empty.
The houses of the villagers are spreaded sporadically across the village, monuments of warmth and domesticity. The darkness of the night emphasizes the small pockets of light that I see, and each one of them tells me a different story. I find it curious that here, so far away from home, the thing that attracts me most are homes.
In my project I’m using long exposure photography in an attempt to translate my feelings and impressions into visual form.
